How to Assign Scenarios

Mystery of Old Fields™ consists of four different scenarios. Each scenario shares the same lessons and quizzes, but the evidence in the crime scene, the control samples and the answer to who may have committed the crime are different.

It’s up to you whether the students in your class will do the same scenario, a randomly-assigned scenario or a scenario assigned to each student by you via the teacher dashboard. Do not tell the students which scenario they have been assigned.

Select Teacher/Assign Scenario from the navbar on the left.

Then, to assign scenarios by class, select the Bulk Assign Scenario to Class dropdown and make your selection for the class.

If you would like to assign a specific scenario per each student, choose the dropdown next to the student’s name and select your choice.

Students must be assigned a scenario before they can begin using the activity.
