What IS My Learn Engines Account?

Learn Engines is the parent company which has produced the science lab activities Who Took Fluffy?™, Diablo Highway®, Murder at Old Fields® and, most recently, its upgrade called Mystery at Old Fields™.

Your Learn Engines account is the central hub which manages the teacher and student accounts associated with these activities and the student licenses to access them. Without a Learn Engines account, you cannot access any of the activities.

After you log into your Learn Engines account, you will first see a dashboard like the above.

In the first row are tools to help you create and name your class(es), enroll students in those classes and manage your available licenses.

The second row presents rectangular icons which represent those Learn Engines activities for which you have purchased licenses. The account in the screenshot above, as an example, has available licenses for all three of our activities (3 icons). If you only bought licenses for one of our activities, only the icon for that one activity would appear in the second row.

Once you click on one of those activity icons, you will jump out of your Learn Engines account and access that activity. In the case of Mystery at Old Fields™, as an example, you would first see your teacher gradebook for that activity.

Here you would see the progress and performance of your students in that activity, but you can’t manage the student accounts here – that can only be done in your Learn Engines account.
